FLAT DESCRIPTION

This flat is located in Beroun in Czech Republic. It is a minimal flat for a family with one child. This family decided to live temporarily in this small flat, sacrifice a bit of theirs' comfort and enables the child to have her own room. They are building their new house near to Prague and soon, they will live in a spacious interior :).
We placed the kitchen against the main entrance in the flat and separate the cooking area from entering by a glazed wall with doors. From the existing layout of the flat, there were not many chances for a great changes, but we did some. The new position of the kitchen is mirrored to the original one. A bathroom is connected with a toilet and is bigger than before.
The kitchen has in an upper part an interior window that brings light in this space. The window is in the wall between the kids room and the kitchen. It helps a lot the entrance area and the cooking area to have a natural light and some lightness for living there. Al surfaces are in light colours and light wood.
The bathroom is attached to entrance area and the kitchen, which was the only logical position in the flat. The bathroom is also very light, there is a shower, a washbasin and a toilet there.
From a living room, we did the maximum we could. There are built-in wardrobes by the door, there is a big bookshelf on the wall. The family loves reading. I have desigend a working place at the window. As a furniture, we have decided for a bed sofa. This living room will be tranformed in a bedroom for nights.Dining for family is in a centre of the room.
The kids room has also a big working space. Furniture is coloured and positive. There is enough place for a storage of the clothes.
This flat was a big challenge and we have achieved the maximum. For an illustration, see the sections right down there.
